Currently November
It's hard to believe it's November 1st...the year is just flying! So, I'm linking up with Farley for Currently!
Taylor Swift is my girl. Love her. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this pop album, but I'm addicted.
I can't believe Halloween has come and gone, but I'm glad the year is going so quick because this is the busiest, most stressful year, yet. It has a bit to do with the fact I'm a full time teacher, before school program teacher, president of a professional organization, head winter cheerleading coach (4 squads), oh and I'm planning for my wedding in June.
I'm brainstorming wedding invitations at the moment. Pinterest is my BFF.
We took our engagement pictures October 22nd, and I'm impatiently waiting to see them! Seriously, they're going to be so cute. We took some pictures at my school's playground, and of course have some with our furbaby, Maxwell!
My cheerleading season officially begins Monday and I'm almost done with bows for all 28 cheerleaders and about halfway done with their locker signs.
I wish I could say I'm reading books for me, but I just don't have time for that. My highest reading group chose Shiloh for their next book, and I'm reading The Year of the Book with my TAG student, so we can have a deep discussion about it! I just hope she doesn't read the whole thing this weekend, because I haven't started yet! Oops!
So what are you up to?! Go link up for Currently, and don't forget about the rule of 3! :)

Well Hey there bloggie BFF! You linked up 2 ahead of me. I am desperately wanting to see your engagement pictures. I am actually to the point of nearly inviting my self. Don't worry. I will pay for our plates. LOL.

Wow, you are a busy lady! Good luck with all the planning--exciting! I know the feeling about wanting to read for fun. That's what summer is for, right? LOL

I love Shiloh! What a fantastic book. Did you say your group chose it? What a fun idea- letting them choose! Do you pull out a variety to choose from? What if someone disagrees? I love this idea- it brings so much student engagement! I'm a new follower, I found you through Farley's link up.

Learning to be awesome
Oh my... you are super-busy! It makes me tired just seeing your list of activities! Enjoy this year of planning your wedding- it's stressful, but it's also a period in your life like none other! You'll post a few of your engagement pictures here or on Instagram, won't you? I can't wait to see them myself!
ReplyDeleteGood luck finishing those cheer bows! The one you showed looks great! I am not a huge Taylor Swift fan but I have to admit I do like her latest album. I read "Shiloh" with a group of Extended Learning kiddos last year and they loved it. I haven't seen the book "The Year of the Book" before... I will be looking that one up!! Thanks!!! Happy November!

You are busy! I miss cheering, that's so cool that you are able to coach! Are you going to create your own invites, or are you going to have them printed somewhere? I agree, I can't believe how quickly this year is going! Enjoy the holidays of November and December!!

I could not imagine how busy you are! Do you get much sleep? I read Shiloh one year with some 4th graders, but I have never heard of that other book! I am going to have to Google it. I love reading new books. Those purple bows are cute.
ReplyDelete1989 is EVERYTHING! It's my "listening" this month too! :o)
