OMGOSH...is it really JUNE 1st?!?! Holy guacamole!
Our last day of school was Friday, so I'm officially on Summer Vacation! It hasn't set in at all... I have no idea where the time went! I have lots of fun things to share with you from my end of the year, but I will leave that for tomorrow! Today I'm linking up with Farley at 'Oh Boy 4th Grade for her awesome currently! :)
Listening: Love this movie, and it's been so long since I've seen it!
Loving: I loved my 1st group of 3rd graders, and I'm sad to see them move on, but ready for another group that will include some of my firsties from student teaching! I'm ready for summer!
Thinking: I started a bet with my boyfriend that I could go 2 whole weeks with waking up at a decent time, working out, doing the daily chore, then working on next year school stuff. If I'm successful, he'll start working out, too! He doesn't think I'll last 2 days! Hmph!
Wanting: I should grab something before I go to school.
Needing: I know you're probably thinking...WHAT?! You got out Friday.... I have to have everything cleaned up ready for furniture to be pulled out of my room so it can be waxed and walls painted. We host the elementary summer school, so ours has to be done by the end of June when summer school starts. Our badges get disconnected until July 30, but since we have summer school and my room isn't going to be used, I'm going to ask my principal if I can sneak in before end of July to work on somethings! :)
Summer: I need to make bows and locker signs before school starts, otherwise my cheerleaders won't get them before January, haha! I'm changing my blog name to fit me as I enter my 3rd year of teaching and pretty sure I have thought of it. Unless anyone has ideas?! I'm all ears. I teach 3rd if you're creative with names! I have an idea in my head, but I won't share...it's a secret! I will also be redoing my layout to go with my {hopefully} new classroom decor! :) If you've been following me since the beginning, you know that I don't have any social studies textbooks. So, I have some ideas up my sleeve for what I'm going to do next year! :)

Second Grade is Out of This World!
You're lucky your room isn't being used for summer school! I always hated the idea of someone else being in "my" room. Teachers are so territorial. Have a great summer!
